2013 sees the return to Incarace of the quirky Bride & Groom Bangers.

After the initial success of the meeting held in 2011 for the Royal Wedding and a further session to celebrate the Queens Jubilee last year it has been decided that this year the Bride & Groom Bangers will get a 3 round series and the winners will be jetting off for a Bride & Groom Incarace Honeymoon!

The Dates.

As stated above the series will be held over 3 rounds with 1 round at each Incarace track.
The dates of the rounds are:-
 Saturday 30th March @ Birmingham Wheels Raceway – Round 1
 Sunday 5th May @ Northampton International Raceway – Round 2
 Monday 27th May @ Hednesford Hills Raceway – Grand Final

Series Format.

 To qualify for the prize the SAME PAIRING of drivers must compete at all 3 rounds.
 Points will be scored using the Man Of The Midlands scoring system.
 Points: 106-92-79-67-56-46-37-29-22-16-11-7-4-2-1
 The Heats & Finals will be scored upto 15th place and double points in The Final.
 Each Bride & Groom pairing will receive attendance points as follows:-
o Race 1 Round:- 10 Points
o Race 2 Rounds:- 25 Points
o Race 3 Rounds:- 50 Points
o 85 Attendance Points can be accumulated in total if a Bride & Groom Pair race all 3 rounds.
 At Hednesford there will be 2 Heats & the Bride & Groom Series Grand Final.
 All races will be lined up in reverse points order after each races points have been calculated with the first race been decided by a Public Incarace Draw at the Drivers Briefing.
 The winner of the Bride & Groom Series is the Banger pairing with the most points after the Bride & Groom Series Grand Final.

The Prize.

Incarace Supremo, Deane Wood thought the idea two years ago was ‘mad’ – he now loves it; so much so that he has confirmed the winners will receive an all inclusive, seven day holiday for two to Tenerife
