Sad news just doesn't seem to stop in 2017.

We have today been informed that a person, very dear to Incarace, John Gould, has passed away following recent illness.

John was a stalwart member of the Incarace team and indeed way back before Incarace was even created as John also worked in the Bill Morris era at Hednesford Hills Raceway.

John was instrumental in assisting with the Hednesford Raceway Supporters Club way back in the 70's arranging many a trip to Wimbledon on Carnival Night.

John became an important member of the marshalling team at Incarace and spent most of his latter time with us as a Start Marshal.

John retired from Incarace a few years ago now, following diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease, but he did continue visiting us on practice nights at Birmingham Wheels on the odd occasion.

John will be sadly missed and our condolences go out to his widow Pauline and sons Daniel and Benjamin.

We will post information regarding the funeral arrangements when they become available.
