Packed out stadiums, edge of your seat action and unbelievable machinery, the curtain came down on BWS for 2026 at Smeatharpe on Saturday night.

The sport so many doomsayers love to speak negatively about has once again delivered the greatest run of National Banger events in many years. Saturday alone proved the popularity, with the bumper crowd not let down by the drivers putting on another excellent showing.

Every single round has created such huge interest on both sides of the fence, with drivers becoming superheroes in the Entertainer's League - getting unprecedented attention every time they have taken to the BWS stage - as well as drivers piloting their way through the carnage to claim those all-important World Final spots in the Wildcard.

Our thanks goes to everyone for their support on both sides of the fence for making this year's BWS such a memorable one for all of the right reasons.
