Hi there! Timmy here.
You will soon see the Queen's Christmas message, but for now, here's mine.
Weeks of preparation and millions of pounds spent leading up to Christmas Day. I hope you have all had the best of days, spending it with family, friends or colleagues.
Sadly, I don't have any family, apart from my fans and colleagues at Incarace, they are like a family to me and I cannot wait to see you all back at Incarace again in the 2017 season.
2016 has been a difficult yet hopeful year for me personally...
I was asked to be the new face of Free Radio since the disappearance of Humfree the Hamster, but was later turned down - destroying all my hopes and dreams.
I had a hill named after me on the island of Bryher, in the Isles of Scilly where I have been informed that the people there think of me as some kind of God, which of course, I am!
The Timmy & Friends Mascot Grand National at Hednesford Hills Raceway in May wasn't my most successful race, as I fell at every hurdle; the first one causing a little more injury than first thought! If it had been the actual Grand National, a man with a very big gun would have been called to help me up.
I had my very own part of the Incarace website created under 'Latest' and 'Timmy the Tyre' where I can post to. In fact, you may even be reading this on there!
I was torn between votes during the Brexit vote, as part of me wanted to remain within the EU so that we didn't have to cancel Euro-Weekend at Northampton, and part of me wanted to leave the EU as some of the people are smelly.
I found out that there is somebody at Spedeworth impersonating me, as we saw at SpedeWeekend! Some of you actually believed that there were 2 Timmy's - THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!
I decided to go shopping on Saturday 5th November as I popped in to Sainsbury's it took less that 10 minutes for me to be evicted by security. It was a disaster! My trousers broke and kept falling down and when I asked a member of staff to assist me she called security! I tried to buy myself a cupcake, but because of my poor eyesight, I crushed many of them on the display. I crashed a trolley into many of the shelves. And to top it all off, as I was already being told off by the store manager, I accidentally fell into a full battery recycling box, knocking it over and breaking it, spilling about a thousand batteries around the store. At this point, I thought the best thing for me to do was run back to my truck!
Not even Callum, the Incarace Official that escorted me could explain to the security and manager what had just happened...
The next day I was made very welcome at the Fireworks Spectacular at Hednesford Hills Raceway in front of some 6,000 people! However my visit did cost Incarace some fire extinguishers and Auto Exchange a sign... Nevertheless, you all made me feel amazing, and to hear that many people burst out laughing at my pain of falling through a sign is incredible!
What I am trying to say, is no-matter how terrible or dark your year has been, there are always days that can make all the bad things be forgotten, maybe not forever, but for long enough to make you smile. Next time you are feeling down, just remember the things that make you smile, this maybe friends or family at Christmas time, or a memory of seeing a big silly tyre hurting himself during a mascot race.
I hope that each and every one of you has a very special Christmas full of happy memories to make you smile and that you have a great New Year!
I hope to see you all in 2017 to put a smile on my face as many times as you have this year!
See you soon.
Timmy.
