Spedeworth/Incarace had a meeting yesterday with representatives from Premier Sports Television and, while impressed with the formula and the racing in general, they felt that the viewing figures may not be high enough to merit investment in coverage of National Hot Rod racing.
Premier Sports feel that they would need A MINIMUM OF 500 NEW SUBSCRIBERS to sign up for an annual subscription prior to investing in National Hot Rods.
We would like to know people's thoughts as to whether these figures are achievable through drivers, teams and fans taking up annual subscriptions as we would need to centralise the subscriptions before presenting them to Premier Sports - to prove that we have acquired at least 500 new subscribers who have committed to Premier Sports for the year. If people were to sign up on an individual basis then it would not have the same impact as these subscribers would not be acknowledged as signing up for National Hot Rods.
