Spedeworth / Incarace would like to make everyone aware that we had to take the unfortunate decision to now cancel the event at Northampton International Shaleway on Sunday 18th November 2018.

Due to the current spell of bad weather over past few weeks and the amount of rain that has fallen at Northampton International Shaleway it has not been possible to work on the track surface to prepare the surface to race upon in a manner which would be fair on the drivers to race or any spectators to watch.

We have taken the decision to cancel the event rather than attempt to put on the event where if the track conditions are poor then the day will not be enjoyable for anyone.

The surface itself has struggled with drainage but work will be taking place over the winter to improve the drain system at the venue to help prevent the issue of bad weather from effecting events from running throughout the 2019 season.

Our thanks go out to all of the drivers, staff and spectators who were planning to support the event and hope that everyone understands that the event has been cancelled for the right reasons.
