All drivers and spectators should note that there is a Jubilee party being held on Monday 4th June at Brafield-on-the-Green and this will mean that the usual road to the stadium from the A428 Bedford road will be closed.

We have negotiated with the organisers that the road closure will not be in force until 12.30, so the majority of transporters and traffic will be at the stadium by then, so won’t affect you too much.

If you are going to be later arriving, then you may do better by approaching the stadium from the opposite direction, via the Queen Eleanor Island Interchange off the A45 and go through Hackelton village and then turning left at Horton towards the stadium.

Alternatively, you may continue along the A428 Bedford Road from the normal entrance road and go via Denton, to Horton, again approaching the stadium from the opposite direction.

Depending upon the finishing time of the party and indeed the time you leave the stadium, you may be requested to leave via Horton village direction, until the road is re-opened later on. Once again the party organisers are going to keep in touch to advise when the road is re-opened to everyone.
