The biggest weekend of the season so far on Incarace tracks looks certain to explode into action at Birmingham Wheels this Saturday night, start time 6.30pm.
F1 driver John Weldon (235) became the 60th driver to book for the World Championship Qualifier and the F2 bookings have now clicked to 50, so a great night is in prospect at the popular Birmingham track.
The action moves to Hednesford on Sunday, where the F1's are again in a World Qualifier which should also see the biggest entry of F1's at the venue for some years.
This would be a typical field of F1's or Senior Stock Cars are they were known then - take a peek of the photos from 1975 supplied by Mike Greenwoood. How drivers can you name?
The F2's are in support on a track that will see their World Semi's in August, with a number of drivers seeking valuable trsck time.
The 40 strong field of 2 Litre National Bangers will all be fighting for World Final Wild cards to get onto the grid for the big race, which is not too far away now (15th May) and the National Mini Stox will not be outdone in providing top class action in what promises to be a superb day.
It should be a great weekend of racing - good luck to all drivers and welcome to all race fans.
