The 2021 Spedeweekend is over and it seems like it went with the blink of an eye.

As a promotion we would like to thank everyone for their support over the weekend. In no particular order we would like to thank the staff for all their hard work over the past few days. Spedeweekend is a big event to organise and it takes more than the staff you see on the track to make the event happen. So many people work behind the scenes who as a race fan or driver you would not event think about but without each and every member of staff playing their part the event would not be the success it was. Thank you to all the staff for working so hard and as such an efficient team. You all did the promotion and yourselves proud!

We would also like to thank the race fans. It has been a long time coming and when the date was finally announced it did not give much time to get the date in your diaries but many of you did and we hope you enjoyed the racing and the show. The cheers from you all in support of your favourite drivers and all of the race winners really does add something special to the atmosphere within the Foxhall Stadium.

We would like to congratulate all of the race winners and new champions of their respective formulas for success over the weekend but our thanks must go to you all. Whether you won a race or went off the track on the back of a breakdown truck, without everyone of you taking time to come and race with us the show would not be the success it is at Spedeweekend.

The racing over the two days was superb and we have already received comments about how everyone enjoyed the show. We would like to address one issue over the weekend and that was with the end of the National Hot Rod World Championship. Unfortunately, due to a computer error some of the pyrotechnics failed at the chequered flags. This has never happened before and the issue has already been addressed to prevent it from happening in the future. That been said the rest of the special effects and lighting worked perfectly to add to the weekend show and we hope you enjoyed it all.

A new thank you for 2021 goes to all those who chose to camp with us over the weekend. This was the first time in many years we have been able to do this at the stadium. A lot of work went into the camping plan for the event to ensure it was done safely and with a minimum disruption to the local area. Everyone played their part to make this new addition to the Spedeweekend work well and we must thank you all for obeying all the rules throughout the event.

Finally, we would like to thank the outside contractors who all come in to assist in making the weekend a success. There are too many people to name and we do not want to miss anyone out but you know who you are and we would again like to say thank you.

So that’s it. Spedeweekend 2020 finally came in September 2021 and lets hope that the 2022 Spedeweekend will be back in July.
