Hardie Race Promotions (In association with Spedeworth Motorsports) wish to make the following statement into the legality of a number of LJN Ninja Karts.
Following on from a race meeting that took place on Sunday 13th September at Aldershot Raceway, a number of karts were randomly checked. The resulting checks found that a number of karts were illegal with an investigation now taking place to ensure that this issue is eradicated as quickly and smoothly as possible.
The issues identified were;
1. Wheel offset
2. Offset on rollcage.
As a result, and with investigations ongoing, we advise anyone with an LJN kart to have this checked before their next race meeting.
LJN are currently suspended from building any Ninja Karts until the issue is rectified and answers are sought.
