Good evening from Yarmouth Stadium where the weather can safely be described as bracing! Topping tonight's bill are the Lightning Rods competing for their East Anglian Championship. The 1300 Stock Cars return to the venue of the English Championship in two weeks time, the Bangers are back in track championship action and the Street Stocks have their first championship race at Yarmouth Stadium as the drivers do battle for the Norfolk Championship!

Lightning Rods

Heat One

452 Adam Eyles, 416, 633, 339, 636, 342, 616, 386, 503, 346.

16 cars on track for Heat 1, the grid draw sees 633 on pole and he leads for most of the race until he leaves the door open allowing 452 and 416 through in one move , 452 holds off the charging Diggy Smith in 416. A little bit of afters sees 342 drive into the 616 car after the reds!

Heat Two

503 Ben Murray, 355, 346, 636, 616, 452, 633, 339, 386, 331.

The same 16 cars line up for Heat Two in reverse grid order and 416 retires on lap 1! 503 and 355 have a great battle at the head of the field with 355 almost getting past on a number of occasions but 503 just manages to hold on for a flag to flag win!

East Anglian Championship

503 Ben Murray, 636 Lee Skoyles, 452 Adam Eyles, 633, 416, 616, 355, 342, 386, 346.

A points mix up sees 416 understandably upset before the start of the East Anglian Championship, 503 beats 452 away from the line 416 gets off to a flyer but loses a lot of ground after an incident with 355. 452 gives 503 a tap going into the last bend and the pair cross the line side by side 452 just in front but gets docked 2 places for contact!

1300 Stock Cars

Heat One

181 Sam Mallett, 79, 569, 117, 686, 23, 371, 644, 121, 88.

With neither of the Trackstar cars making it out, 18 cars lined up for Heat One. New driver 101 hits the fence hard on the back straight then does likewise in front of the rostrum bringing out the yellows. 117 was the leader at the time until 181 marked his return by getting his nose in front to take the win ahead of the flying Radcliffe brothers!

Heat Two

23 Lee Pearce, 569, 79, 371, 121, 42, 117, 88, 713, 181.

19 Stock Cars come out on track for their next race including the 2 Trackstar drivers. 101 finds another new post to try out ! Yellow grade 117 leads until, with 3 to run, 23 lauches him wide to take up the running in his New Civic and takes the win!

Final

23 Lee Pearce, 686 Pete Beldom, 79 Barry Radcliffe, 121, 371, 713, 181, 88, 323, 392.

A closed grid for the final saw an early yellow flag to allow 42 to get to safety and a few laps later same again this time for 644 who had gone in hard. 371 Bloss leads the restart but a brilliant drive from 23 sees him up into second and as soon as the green flag shows he deals with Bloss sending him wide. 23 wins an excellent domestic final roll on 2 weeks time when the stakes are much higher as the drivers battle for the English Championship!

Bangers

Heat One

122 Scott Piggin, 145, 628, 76, 821, 245, 445, 367, Nof.

10 Bangers on track for their first action of the night. 180 and 367 went in hard on the first lap and after this it was simple for 122 as he takes the win. 145 came from the back to get up to second place.

Heat Two

628 Kev Taylor, 821, 145, 499, 442, 445, 180, NOF.

Eleven Bangers for Heat Two with late but very welcome and lively 442 Simon Berry involved with everyone ! 628 takes the win in his very well presented Civic.

Final

122 Scott Piggin, 145 Daniel Bullock, 628 Kev Taylor, 442, 245, 445, 821, NOF.

A much better Banger final with every driver getting involved in some action along the way, 367 finally finished off his Corsa from last week showing you don't need a Honda to have fun!

Street Stocks

Heat One
269 Scott Ewles, 133, 134, 131, NOF.

Five street stocks for their first race as ,sadly, 135 failed to make the start but it is his running mate 269 who takes a comfortable win.

Heat Two

135 Ian Dack, 133, 269, 620, 333, 134, NOF.

A greatly improved 9 Street Stocks for their second race and a well earned win for 135 who had his car running well in this one!

Norfolk Championship

700 Gareth Cushion, 269 Scott Ewles, 133 Wayne Brown, 135, 620, 333, 134, NOF.

Another good race from the Street Stocks sees the 131 Corsa getting knocked about throughout the race 700 drives well to record the win.
