Matt, from Buckinghamshire, is the son of former National Hot Rod racer Jeff Simpson and started his racing career with Spedeworth Ministox before moving into Legends and rapid success both on and off the track with National Hot Rods and his Simpson Race Exhausts Company that have powered many, many Drivers to success both on the Oval and Long Circuits.

Matt joins a very exclusive resume` of Spedeworth / Incarace Drivers that have progressed into Long Circuit stardom such as Derek Warwick, Rob Collard, Nick Tandy, Martin Brundle Barry Lee, John Mickel….even Bernie Ecclestone raced Stock cars in the 1950’s!, The list continues to grow.
