With immediate effect the maximum price anyone can pay for a Zetec exhaust complete with silencer will be £700 plus VAT, and all Zetec exhausts and silencers in use must be freely available to purchase for that price from a supplier. The step exhaust is not permitted on the Zetec engine.

From 1st January 2015, the Ford Pinto step exhaust will be banned, and ALL exhausts complete with silencer will be a maximum of £700 plus VAT, again freely available to purchase for that price from a supplier.

If an exhaust system is purchased for a less amount from any supplier, it can only be used in the formula if the system is freely available for that price to all drivers.

This rule is not being introduced to inconvenience people, but try and keep the costs of the formula down, which we trust people will understand. This is to try and keep the price in line with those for National Hot Rods.
