The gearbox on Ben Styles' Superstox which was removed and sealed was stripped, and found to be legal. The reason for the gears being in the wrong position is that the gear linkage for the gearbox was cut and rewelded upside down which therefore puts 1st gear where 3rd gear should be, which to the rule book is completely legal.

2.0 Hot Rods shockers were removed passenger side front and drivers side rear on the top 4 cars, I personally took them to the shocker companies myself and made sure that all of the tests carried out were to our rules. All 4 were confirmed as OK.

I am fed up with rumours on shock absorbers, I think some drivers are being ripped off and told a load of rubbish, but I am in talks with shocker companies about sealing their shockers so they would know if someone had been inside them.

I have had a lot of people telling me that I have not been carrying out many checks in the past year, so we will be carrying out more random checks going forward.
