The first Spedeworth qualifier for the Banger Mechanics’ Championship taking place in aid of FORDS Care, is scheduled for this Wednesday 10th July at Arlington Stadium.

FORDS Care is the Fund that supports drivers, staff and photographers injured on the race track. This is a chance for regular drivers to reward the hard work put in by their helpers by giving them a go on the fun side of the fence.

All mechanics need is a sponsoring driver to supply the car and kit, and minimum sponsorship of £60. Every penny raised above the cost of the day licence goes directly to help a fellow racer while he can’t work due to an injury.
