It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nick Thomas this morning, Sunday April 28th, 2013, at Ipswich Hospital.

Nick's wonderful legacy lives on with his wife Kara and through his children Ben, Dom & Megan.

Fondly remembered not just in his role as Promotions Manager for Spedeworth, Nick was of course widely respected for being a real Gentleman and friend to all. He was a dyed-in-the-wool supporter of oval racing and his desire to 'put on a show' at the big occasions gave him the chance to add that trademark 'Thomas Touch' to proceedings. One of life's affectionate 'Racing Anoraks', what he didn't know about racing really wasn't worth knowing. His enthusiasm and zest for fun will be truly missed.

Deane and Janet Wood along with the rest of the Spedeworth Motorsports team wish to extend their sincere condolences to Nick Thomas' family and friends.
