We've also had a great Grand Parade for the Rovers with some superb work having clearly gone into all of them, and not forgetting the Classic Hot Rods which are also racing with us tonight.

Race 1 - Rover p4s - 260 Keith Reynolds, 101, 731, 303, 538, 587, 164, NOF.

24 cars for this one including 82 Bob Ballard's superb p3, some good action with 421 Laurence Ault having the biggest wreck courtesy of 13 Peewee all the way from Holland, but it's 260 Keefy who storms to a good contact win!

Heat 2 - Rover p5s - 768 Calvyn Girling, 917, 423, 445, 168, 402, 688, 311, 103, NOF.

917 leads the first p5 race for a long time but goes out late on handing the win to 768 Calvyn Girling, with the 'old man' 168 Malcolm Girling in 5th!

Heat 3 - Rover p5s - 173 Steven Reynolds, 514, 88, 202, 523, 204, 86, 614, NOF.

The other half cars in the next p5 race, 86 Alec Savage leads for a long time but gets involved with 360 and goes out leaving 173 Hotsocks to go clear and take the win!

Heat 4 - 917 John Millen, 173, 402, 433, 614, NOF.

All available cars and we have 54 cars on track! A superb race with only 5 cars finishing it, action everywhere!!! 917 John Millen takes the flag this time, 538 Jake Swann causing mayhem backing out on the home straight where 206 Kingy gives him what he wanted!

Final - 173 Steven Reynolds, 917 John Millen, 523 John Swanborough, 86, 439, 266, 514, NOF.

39 cars start the Final, and it's another storming race from the Rovers, including a jacking train on the turnstile bend! 173 Hotsocks continues his top night with the Final win making his trip over the water well worthwhile!!

Heat 5 - 173 Steven Reynolds, 501, 86, 523, 439, 11, 514, 516, 587, 311.

It's a 5 lap dash into DD for the Rovers, 19 cars starting with 2 more waiting for the DD, a stoppage for a rollover and we get going again before 912 rolls and it's another red! We're off again though and 173 wins again.

Into the DD and some more big hits with reds coming out for 336 Nigel White who was k.o'd by a big hit from 549 Phil Smith. Unfortunately the DD cannot be completed due to a spectator climbing over the catch fencing - we're at the curfew time for Ipswich so we cannot restart.

Classic Hot Rods

Heat 1 - 271 Jamie Johnson, 144, 6, 30, 20, 61, 37, 8, 153, 172.

A good race for the Classic Hot Rods, brought to an abrupt end with a big coming together for 22 Rob Montagner and 16 Pat Smith Jnr leaving the 16 car in a mess, local driver Jamie Johnson takes the win in his mk.1 Escort.

Heat 2 - 6 Graham Fulker, 144, 61, 271, 153, 37, 30, 10, 32, 8.

It's a flag to flag victory for Graham Fulker's Anglia in the second heat for the Classic Hot Rods as he builds up a half lap lead on 144 Tim Foxlow's mk.2 Escort.

East Anglian Championship - 6 Graham Fulker, 144 Tim Foxlow, 271 Jamie Johnson, 20, 30, 153, 8, 172, 37, 32.

It's another storming win for Graham Fulker's Anglia so he takes the East Anglian Championship ahead of the Escorts of 144 and 271, to end some top quality action from the Classic Hot Rods!
