"Can I please thank some people through your website for all the help they have given me over the last couple of weeks....

To everyone who sent me messages on Facebook and the text messages i received, thank you for your kind wishes, they got me through quite a difficult time. I'm sorry I haven't replied to you all but please come and say hello if you see me at a track so I can personally say thanks.....

To all at Spedeworth/Incarace especially Christer who came and visited me in hospital, Nick Hughes and Nick Thomas (I thought they were one person!!!!), thank you for sorting out Emma's accomodation whilst I was in hospital and Deane Wood for your help and support for me and my family over this difficult time.....

Finally to 4 of the best friends anyone could ever wish for...Mark (six figures) Allen, my nephew and chief mechanic who helped organise everything after my accident and who brought Emma up to the hospital to see me...

Lee (how much did you pay for that Stock Rod) Fear for everything you did over the weekend, who towed my car home and came and collected me and brought me home from hospital....

Luke (what time does the bar open) Hamilton for everything you did over the weekend and for driving my van back and getting Mark and Tom home safe and sound...I didnt know that my van could do 90 mph !!!!!!

Last but not least...the one....the only...Steve (the nicest man in Stock Car racing) Hamilton, for everything he has done over the last two years, for taking a leading role in organising to get everything back home, for letting me park my car on his drive!!!! And for dropping everything and getting Emma to me in hospital when I needed her the most.....Thank you guys....Love and hugs.....Simon Povey"
