Congratulations to local favourites The Seasiders whose B team won the annual National Banger u1400cc 4-a-side team event at Arlington on the Jubilee Bank Holiday Monday! A great total of 14 teams took part in the event which treated the Eastbourne crowd to some top quality entertainment with plenty of good racing and even more good crashing!

It was all to play for leading into the Final with 4 teams still in with a shout, but although Team No Fear’s 2 Luke Dawson won the race it was the Seasiders’ 558 Rob Haines who took the crucial 2nd place slot to win it for his team, whose efforts were even better as they only had 3 drivers due to their 4th member’s lorry breaking down earlier in the day! ‘Spooky’ Dawson’s 2nd took his team into the 2nd place overall with Dreamers A taking 3rd.
