77 Tony Roots RIP - Added 18/5/2011


We have regretfully been informed today of the death of Tony Roots after illness.

Tony was a big name around the tracks for many years, 1997 being the pinnacle of his racing career when he won the National Superstox World (Ipswich) and European (Warneton) titles.

More recently, Tony had been racing in the European Late Models and formerly raced Super Rods too.

All at Spedeworth would like to extend our sincere condolences to all of Tony's friends and family at this sad time.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday 24th May at 2.00pm. It will be at Merton & Sutton Joint Cemetry, Cemetry Lodge, Garth Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 4JX. All Welcome.
