Spedeworth / Incarace are saddened to hear of the passing of V8 Stock Car #33 Terry Harris.

Terry’s son Daryl let us know the sad news and has written a short piece about his dad which we are happy to add to our websites and social media pages on Daryl’s behalf.

“He died after a long unbeknown battle with cancer. Racing and the V8’s has been a huge part of his life for many years and a major passion for the V8 engine both on and off the track.
Started racing at 19 years old in:-
1968 - Brisca F2’s
1973-74 - Brisca F1’s
1975 - Raced at the 2nd ever SCOTA meeting at Wimbledon Then FISCA and onto Formula 80’s for Spedeworth.
Transitioned into Spedeworth F1’s and then onto Spedeworth V8 Stock Cars until his last grading in 2017.
Dad also won the World Championship in 1999.”

Spedeworth / Incarace would also like to pass on our condolences to the family at this difficult time and Terry’s memory will live on within the history of our wonderful sport.
