Back in 1967 Spedeworth advertised for sale a slot racing stock car set from 'Victory Industries' in the December issue of 'Stock Car Journal'. We ordered one from Aldershot HQ and to ensure that it arrived before Christmas Les Eaton personally delivered it to us in Ipswich on Christmas Eve. This summed up the sort of man Les was, a true gent and a canny businessman.
Our thoughts are with his family.
RIP Les. Thanks for the legacy that you left us
