The Modstox are an ideal formula for the beginner to racing and for those looking to compete on a relatively small budget while still experiencing the thrills and spills of full-bore stock car racing.

Small in stature but big on action, these cars are powered by 850cc Reliant engines similar to those used in Rebels and always provide great entertainment for drivers and fans alike.

Costs are kept low and the cars are fairly simple to maintain and run and as a result the formula attracts a great mixture of seasoned stock car racers and racing newcomers – all with an equal chance of finding success.

The 2011 British Championship takes place at Birmingham Wheels in October at a raceway where the formula has become popular as part of the I Factor Fast and the Furious race series, while Northampton stages the annual Champion of Champions event.
