BriSCA F1 Stock Car racing has a long history in the UK, and many drivers and fans are only too happy to show off a small piece of it through the BriSCA Heritage racing formula.
A whole mixture of original cars and replicas from across a variety of eras in the 55-year history of Britain’s top oval formula mix together and battle it out, from the cumbersome-looking yet rapid Ford Pilots of the 1950s to the more sophisticated and modern-looking machines of the 1980s.
Some of the cars have become stars in their own right, notably a couple of the ‘50s machines which appeared in a recent TV advert alongside the Audi R8, and also the Stirk family’s extraordinary six-wheeled stock car – the only one of its kind in the UK.
