V8 Stock Cars

Although outwardly similar to the Superstox, these cars utilise much bigger engines, the American Chevrolet V8 or occasionally you'll find a Rover V8.
Developed out of the traditional F1 Stock Car, which had become much too expensive and specialised for many would-be competitors; nonetheless the rumbling motors and colourful bodies add spice to any meeting. The V8 formula has been around for many years, formerly known as SCOTA, Formula 80's and F1 Stock Cars.
Over the past decade the formula has had some interesting times, more recently though the formula has taken an upward turn and gets better every year. The V8 formula is one of Spedeworth's oldest formulas, yet still provides great excitement. Being a full contact sport you'll rarely see a dull race.
